At the heart of our bespoke cover is liability and the aim to protect you and your family’s financial wellbeing should an incident arise.
For more information about these covers, please read our policy summary; it is important that you understand the policy cover, conditions and claims procedure.

Liability cover includes

Personal Liability - your legal liability to others for bodily injury or damage to their property arising directly from your participation in any golfing activity, up to a maximum of £5,000,000;

Non-negligent third party property damage - damage to third party property resulting directly from your participation in any golfing activity, regardless of your legal liability, up to a maximum of £25,000.

Golf equipment cover includes

Golf Equipment - loss of or damage to your golf equipment anywhere in the world, including clubs, trolleys, bags and clothing. For current golf equipment that cannot be economically repaired, we will pay the cost of replacement as new;

Personal Effects - loss of or damage to your personal effects arising as a direct result of your participation in any golfing activity. We will pay for the cost of repair or replacement as new, up to a maximum of £350;

Golf trophies - loss of or damage to golfing trophies, cups and awards which belong to you or for which you are legally responsible. We will pay for the cost of repair or replacement as new, up to a maximum of £500;

Alternative Golf Equipment Hire - the costs and expenses you incur in hiring alternative golf equipment following loss or damage insured under the policy, up to a maximum of £500.

Golf buggy cover includes

Driving Liability – Property - your legal liability to others for damage to their property arising directly from the maintenance, operation or use of a buggy within the United Kingdom by any driver named in your policy schedule, up to a maximum of £20,000,000 for any one accident, including defence costs;

Driving Liability – Injury - your legal liability to others for bodily injury arising directly from the maintenance, operation or use of a buggy within the United Kingdom by any driver named in your policy schedule. There is no limit on the amount we will pay for any one accident resulting in third party bodily injury;

Golf Buggy - loss of or damage to your golf buggy anywhere in the United Kingdom, including while in transit. For any current buggy that cannot be economically repaired, we will pay the cost of replacement as new;

Emergency Treatment - reimbursement of any payment made under the United Kingdom Road Traffic Act for emergency treatment incurred as a result of an accident involving your buggy.

Golfers' benefits

Personal Accident - a capital benefit of £75,000 if you suffer death, loss of sight, loss of limb or permanent total disablement while participating in any golfing activity;

Dental - the costs of treatment by a suitably licensed and qualified dentist if you suffer an accidental dental injury while participating in any golfing activity, up to a maximum of £750;

Optical - the costs of treatment by a suitably licensed and qualified optician or ophthalmologist if you suffer an accidental optical injury while participating in any golfing activity, up to a maximum of £150;

Spectacles - the costs or repair or replacement of your spectacles if they are lost or damaged while you are participating in any golfing activity, up to a maximum of £100;

Disability - the pro rata portion of your home golf club annual membership fees for the period that you are unable to play golf if you suffer an accidental physical injury while participating in any golfing activity, up to a maximum of £2,000;

Redundancy - the pro rata portion of your home golf club annual membership fees for the period that you are unemployed and actively seeking employment following redundancy, up to a maximum of £1,000;

Tournament Fees - your irrecoverable golf tournament entry fees if you suffer an unexpected physical illness or injury which results in your inability to play golf, up to a maximum of £250;

Hole In One - a capital benefit of £150 if you score a hole in one while participating in any official stroke play or match play golf club competition or any similar regional or national competition.
