The true test of any insurance policy is when it comes to making a claim. And that is where we shine.

Do you have a current policy?

If you have a current Golfers Policy effective on or after 1 January 2016, you can submit a claim:

  1. online, by logging into your account
  2. you can also download a claim from the documents page
  3. by telephone – call Carrick Neill on 0131 225 7777 (Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm)
  4. by e-mail – please e-mail us to claims@golferspolicy.co.uk
  5. by post – please send us the details to Carrick Neill, 5th Floor, 101 George Street, Edinburgh, EH2 3ES

We serve you

We put our customers at the forefront of everything we do. This is achieved through our knowledgeable and friendly people who have a “can do” attitude.

We can make decisions in house

Carrick Neill has delegated authority from Hiscox to deal with and settle most claims. You will therefore only have to talk to us throughout the lifetime of your policy unless your claim involves injury or high values. This enables a fast and efficient claims process.

We can settle claims and issue payments in house

In most cases, claims settlement is agreed within 5 working days with fast, no nonsense, and efficient claims service delivered by our own, in-house colleagues.

Injury and high value damage claims may be handled by Hiscox Insurance, because more complex claims require more specific legal expertise and advice.

We understand the game

The Golfers Policy cover is designed with the game in mind and therefore we take an understanding approach to golfers. We now provide worldwide cover as standard, so you never have to second guess whether you remembered to add the extension before you travel. If your golf equipment is lost / damaged / stolen, we will cover you for hiring alternative equipment so you can keep playing.

It is very important that you understand the policy cover and conditions. Please ensure that you have read all of your policy documents. The Golfers Policy offers some of the broadest levels of cover available, giving our customers true peace of mind. All communications, including the policy wordings, are written in plain English with no jargon to ensure that you know exactly what is and, as importantly, what is not covered.
